Probably some players are more likely to call (sale on sets, aisle 10!) but to the vast majority I doubt it matters.

Villains sometimes fold more if you bet their exact stack size too [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Last night I was at a table with a guy who kept raising to $1.69 preflop. I kept hoping I could get a hand against him so I could reraise him to $4.83.

Nope, but I played at a table with him once. It was awesome. Everyone thought he was much worse than he actually is .. it was incredible. I'm planning on trying it out soon.

I play with him a lot and he really isnt that good. He is annoying as all hell though

poincareux: yeah, betting completely weird numbers is fun. i sometimes do it just to confuse, although im not sure of the effect.

OT: poincareux: what does the russian sentence under your location mean? "Why do you.... american/to america, something?"

Yeah, he didn't seem like a great player to me, but he sure got action. And it's really fun to get into a min-raising war with him [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].
