I never fold here. The only question is to call or shove. I'd probably shove. Too easy for him to have 45 or something like K4s and play it the same way. You could fold like 34 or 45 here though.

This says you're UTG. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you're the BB.
Why would he play a set like that on the flop vs 3 opponents? Seems kinda odd to me, but I guess there is an argument for it. I wouldn't say easy fold. In fact I don't know if I could fold this. |

This is kinda tough, its really not going to make a huge difference in the long haul. I mean he almost never has 77s here, so you are losing to QQ and beating everything else. That said there is only one 4 left, and I don't think there are that many hands with a 4 in his range. Like maybe the other A4s or 45s, but there are 3 remaining QQ combinations, and as always you have to factor in the random crazy play. Quick mental math says ??????????? fold maybe less variance, call and you don't have to lose sleep over getting bluffed out of the hand, call it a cooler if you end up against QQ and see if you can hit the 1 outer. I have to say that the logical part of my brain says fold, but it also assumes that everyone else is always logical, and from experience I know thats not the case.
So after all that thinking out loud, call or fold. You cant shove, just because that is going to fold out all the crazy plays. So call down or fold. |

[censored] this is an ugly spot. I think one of those times where a fold is best but making it is near impossible. I think he's MUCH more likely to have QQ/77 than a lower 4

If you fold this 4 handed then you are officially the tables bitch. Call turn and call a push on the river. It is perfectly reasonable for him to have a weaker 4 and would make a lot of sense. The only reasonable hand you are behind to is QQ and we have to take some risks right?

i dont like pushing.
calling and getting it in on the river is better. if hes at all decent he would only call a turn push with a boat the way that action went down, but if you just call he'll felt any 5 he might have. just curious, why did you flat call SB turn lead? |
