This is a hand from Bellagio 2-5NL on new year's day, it reminds me why live play is awesome.

I sit down at the table and the first hand I witness, I watch a middle-aged women check/call the river with the stone cold nuts...sweet, this should be a seeeexy time. I play for roughly an hour, splash around in some small pots and am roughly still at my original stack of $500. Then a sweet hand comes along...

I'm in MP,folded to me and I bump it $15 with AKo. A young, scared player ($300ish) calls next to me, as does a 25ish year-old dude ($2k) in the SB. So far, the SB like to play aggro post-flop and seems like a thinking player who will follow through on his reads etc.

The flop comes KK3 (niiiiiiice) rainbow and the SB checks to me, I think about betting, but then notice that the scared player is already grabbing chips. I check to him and he bets $15 into $45... The SB calls OOP (sweet, slowplaying kq I hope?)...I raise to $45, the young nit mucks and the SB calls...at this point I'm really hoping he's got a K after he calls my CR OOP, but then the turn comes a K... I try not to hollywood it at all and put in $70 very quickly, hoping that this homeboy subscribes to the 'ol strong means weak mantra or w/e. So the SB thinks for literally 1 second, then says "ALL IN". whammy! my chips beat him to the pot as he shouts "[censored]!". The poor fellow tables 77 for a whopping zero outs. The table laughs, and as the dealer ships me the the $1K pot, the SB says: "Damn, I put you on some high cards...." Sweet read bro, keep it up and you should win big with expert play.

No he played it strong, trying to act weak. Villain saw OP check minraise flop then instabet 1/2 pot turn and knew he was trying to push him around with his aggressive betting.
