Default Dell 3007 fp and resolution

I am looking to purchase a new monitor (or monitors) for multi tabling. From all the searchs I have done here I see that the 3007 is the new and preferred monitor for playing on sites that have resizable tables because of its sheer size (specs list it at 2560 x 1600). However, I play on some sites that have resizable tables (eg. PS) and non resizable tables (eg. AP). My question is does the 3007 also natively support 1600 x 1200 for the non resizing sites?

I am also open to other suggestions for a monitor set up. I have read some interesting posts about LCD screens and would like some info about what size, type etc. would best fit my needs.

Thanks all.

2560 X 1600 is better than 1600 X 1200. Generally, LCDs don't look good at any resolution other than there native one.

How many tables are you playing? It's hard to believe you really need the massive 3007. Can you just use 2 1600x1200s?

It'll look good at 1280x800.

depends. 4-6 when playing cash. 10 - 12 when playing STT's. i am certainly open to using 2 1600x1200s. i have just read posts from people saying that bigger (the 3007) is better when playing on a site with resizable tables. i was just wondering if it was also a good choice for other non resizable sites as well as being cost effective (i found it online for about $1500 cdn) vs. other set ups.

most are 800 pixels or so tall, and 600 wide.
