Calculate luck?

Is there any thing out there that can take your poker tracker numbers and calculate luck? I.e takes all the pots where you got your money in good or bad with cards to come? Maybe even make it size relative. Like 50 BB is worth 50BB at any level?

Just and idea. Would be fun to look at.

PXF has something similar to this in their MTT hand replayer I think.

We talk about this all the time. It's a bad idea. Even "Did I get my money in ahead?" is a bad question. Let's say a maniac pushes preflop and you call him with KK. Turns out this time he had AA. Since that happened preflop, does it mean it was your lack of skill?

You can measure preflop hand-ranges, but that's like looking for your keys under the lightpost; just because it's easy to calculate doesn't mean it's where the luck matters. I'd much rather get my flushdraws or have my opponents miss theirs, than get AA and hope it holds-up.

FWIW, If there were any significant value to it, I'd make a program to run all my hands in PT through PokerStove to check my luck - Lord knows I'd like the reassurance I'm just unlucky this week [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] But it is not quite so simple as at first it may seem...
