Trojan- false positive?
win32.trojan.peflog.30
Just came up in a scan with Zonealarm. Only a few google results, some said false positive and some weren't clear. Any of you guys know anything about this? What should I do? |

Re: Trojan- false positive?
Guessing your ok as some 'guru' dude said this:
http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs/...essage.id=1200 [ QUOTE ] This is a false positive please report the f/p here http://www.zonelabs.com/store/conten...are_report.jsp [/ QUOTE ] Also found this: [ QUOTE ] Win32.Trojan.Peflog.30. Until further notice, I'm assuming it's a false positive because the keys underneath it in the ZA log file are all related to Hijackthis. [/ QUOTE ] Have you been running hijackthis lately? You have probably read all this as there are like 3 google hits. I go with trust the guru though |

Re: Trojan- false positive?
Yeah, saw that. Apparently it's a new thing according to the google results, which worries me that it isn't known yet. Haven't ran Hijack This is a long time though. The location description of the file had something to do with hijackthis according to ZA, but I've forgotten exactly what. I meant to take a screenshot but I screwed that up. I've just quarantined it for now. Problem is I really need to log into a bunch of sportsbook accounts and get to work/change password, but I'm hesitant.
Really need to get off my ass and buy a cheap backup PC for [censored] like this. |
