Villian is 22/14/4. He hasn't gotten out of line. Neither have I.

i woulda shoved flop, i woulda shoved turn given you didn't shove flop. too easy for him to be overplaying a smaller pair. or have a big draw of sorts.

Well it looks like a butchered this one. Let me explain my thought process so someone can show me where I'm wrong.
I put him on a pretty narrow range when he called the pf reraise. He has to think my 3-betting standards are fairly tight vs his UTG raising range (which they are). So maybe he calls with 99+, AK, maybe AQs or something silly like JTs. That flop is pretty safe, yet he check/minraises. There aren't many draws on the he could have given his narrow range, and if he had one, I'd expect him to bomb the flop. Also, I don't see hands like QQ-TT pulling this little reraising stunt too often, but they might. Once I call the flop raise, he probably thinks he has little fold equity on the turn, yet bets it anyway. I would expect him to give up here with JJ/TT a lot. That's what I was thinking at the time. Maybe I'm overanalyzing the situation, or putting villian on too narrow a range. |

so you put him on exactly 99? I'd have 3 bet flop but yeah at least push turn.

I would just shove the flop. If he shows up with an 8 in a reraised pot whatever. 99 or AA is just a cooler. As played shove turn.

depends what you put him on. Because if a diamond falls you could second guess yourself into folding, or push anyways and be drawing to 4 outs if he has AK diamonds. Of if he does have a very poorly played TT-QQ an A or K might fall and he'd shut down.
