I got xbox live, now what?
I finally picked up a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 the other day and got xbox live hooked up. I was able to download a couple of game demos and play Tony Hawk's Project 8 with other people, but I'm not sure I see what all the fuss is about yet. With THP8, I definitely prefer playing on my own, mostly because I suck at it and lose all those online games in like 3 seconds - plus the levels are so big in that game that I rarely even see the other players, a screen just pops up and tells me I lost once in a while.
I've heard xbox live is great, so are there games I should check out that have a better online experience? Maybe some good shooters or something? |

Re: I got xbox live, now what?
yeah, shooters are great. gears of war MP is pretty good, so is rainbow six. I've been playing call of duty non stop for about a month.
also, a bunch of xbox live arcade games are pretty sweet for $5-$10, there have been threads in this forum with reviews. |

Re: I got xbox live, now what?
A good friends list is the key to an enjoyable Live experience. Join different rooms and find people that are fun to play with/against. One or 2 douche bags can easily ruin a game if they're glitching, trash talking team killing etc.
It takes some effort finding the right peeps, but once you do, there is no comparison to playing single player games! |
