The: A Day In a Life Thread

We've done this before, but not in a while, and since there's a new crop of OOTers around, it seems like it's a good time for the "post your daily routine thread".

HOW TO BE DIDS:

5:00 - Alarm goes off, swear at whatever retarded thing Mike and Mike are saying. Do not get up.

5:35 - Actually get up. Find clothes to wear, toss them in dryer.

5:36 - crap

5:40 - shower

5:55 - done shower, brush teeth, get dressed, etc.

6:00 - pack lunch, leave house, drive to park and ride

6:10 - stand in line at park and ride, generally get annoyed by idiots around me

6:25- bus arrive, start reading

7:00ish- bus get to work

7:00 - 8:00 - prepare breakfast (cereal, peanut butter toast, yogurt) read internets.

8:00 - "work" (most days this just means browse internets and chat)

10:00 - eat fruit

11:30 - lunch, then walk to somewhere to do something interesting

12:30 - "work"

3:00 - eat fruit

4:30 - go outside and wait for bus

4:45 - bus comes (yes, I do spent around 45 minutes a day waiting for a bus, what)

5:20ish- bus arrives back at park and ride

5:30sih- get home, chance into work out clothes, go to gym

5:32- work out, 30 minutes of cardio then weights

7:00ish - get home, shower.

7:20- cook dinner

8:00ish- eat dinner

8:20ish- clean up dinner, update blog with picture of dinner.

8:30- veg out

10:00- sleep, unless Lost is on, then fight sleep to watch lost.

2:30 AM- wake up and pee because I'm old.

repeat.

7:30am - walk/run dog, feed dog and cat, make breakfast

8:00am - eat breakfast, watch last night's Poker After Dark

8:45am - drive to work

9:00am - 12:30pm - slave away at job, post on 2+2

12:30 - 1:30pm - go home, walk dog, eat lunch

1:30 - 6:00pm - try not to work much, post more on 2+2

6:00pm - 7:00pm - porn star orgy with old friends

7:00pm - 8:00pm - play with animals, house chores

8:00pm - midnight - either watch TV, go out on date or with friends, or play poker.

5:30pm: leave work.

7:30pm - 11pm: some combination of practicing, playing or writing music.

11pm - whenever: read, listen to music, play poker, go out for a drink w/wife, etc.

I've never been able to keep a "schedule". Of course, I'm still in college making it very hard to do. I guess it'll change when I have a 9-5.

How to be Skoob:

6:30 - Alarm - ride snooze for a while.

7:00 - Wife comes in, opens shades. 18 month son is usually in tow, if he's up by then, which usually he is. Mom puts kid in bed with me and there are morning kisses and hugs. We also play a little and tickle fight.

7:30 - breakfast

7:40 - shower/dump, not simultaneously.

8:00 - dress, shave, brush teef, etc.

8:30 - leave house, drive to work.

8:45 - arrive at work (it's a short commute - 7 miles only).

9:00 - get starbucks from cafeteria, pretend to work.

11:30 - grab a bite, usually from the cafeteria, sometimes go to subway or whatever.

11:35 - bring food back to desk. Eat and surf internets.

12:30 - go back to pretending to work.

3:00 - leave work, drive home (I only work in the office 6 hours a day - brag).

3:15 - arrive home (depending on day of the week the wife is home or not, so I have to supervise boy sometimes).

3:30 - change clothes, check email, surf internets, play planetside, unless I'm alone with the boy. Then we just hang out and play or read books. He usually has a snack at this time. Graham crackers, milk, and a slice of cheese, maybe some fruit...

5:30 - start making dinner (wife doesn't usually cook, I like to cook so I don't mind).

6:00 - eat dinner.

7:00 - play with the boy while mom cleans up the kitchen.

7:30 - start the boy's bedtime ritual.

8:00 - put boy in crib.

8:05 - watch TV, surf internets, play planetside, bang wife.

10:30-11-ish - sleep.

7:15 to 7:55 - Hit snooze button repeatedly.
7:56 to 8:15 - Shower (sometimes), get dressed, let dog out, leave for work.
8:30 - Arrive at work, buy coffee.
8:35 to 11:00 - Read internets, catch up on random work assignments.
11:00 to 12:30 - Home for lunch, play poker, let dog outside.
12:30 to 3:00 - Buckle down and get work done.
3:00 to 5:00 - Lose focus, listen to iPod, sometimes head to gym to shoot 3-pointers.
5:00 to 5:15 - Drive home.
5:15 to 6:30 - Feed dog, play cards.
6:30 to 11:00 - ?????
11:00 - Profit.
