Default KQo vs blind defender flop action!

Villain is 24/18/2.8 over 370 hands. Seems to be a thinking player. Appeared aggressive and not too tricky (one of you guys??). I'd like comments on every street, but I'm particularly interested in comments on the flop 3-bet for free card.

Checking behind in the first place would have cost less than 3 betting for a free card!!

Flop 3-bet=1.5BB
Check flop/call turn= 1BB

But checking behind loses the chance of taking down the pot right away, especially if it missed villain.

I don't like to 3-bet for a free card with such a weak drawing hand and such a connected mid-range board. Just bet-call and fold the turn UI (of course, you picked up the OESD, so you're calling).

I'd like it more if you had a gutshot or A-high or something. Bet the turn

I dont three bet the flop. You have K-high.

I call the turn.

Then raise the river.

So you're saying you'd consider 3-betting the flop with a better draw? What kind of draw would you need to take this one to 3-town? OESD or better?

I think 3betting would be nice if tne board was
J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ... or

essentially ... you're looking for a draw with with overcards plus a gut shot or OESD (OCs+OESD is an easy 3bet)

EDIT: villian has 'something' here ... with just overs, your equity is not all the high ... increase your outs by 4 to 8 (you may have up to 60%)
