Re: Startinghands
You will not find many NL starting hand charts. I believe if you go to Phil Gordon's website he has one. Its not a game with an ABC preflop strategy.

Re: Startinghands
There is a guide in No Limit Hold'em: Theory and Practice (Slansky and Miller 2006). There is no one correct way to play though. Lucky |

Re: Startinghands
Both recommendations -- LGB, NLHE:TAP -- are fine. "Its not a game with an ABC preflop strategy," and, " There is no one correct way to play though."

Re: Startinghands
Phil Gordon's "Little Green Book" has a few starting hands charts.
Many people say they are against charts like these, but I love them. When you're just beginning, they give you advance knowledge of what hands are good and what hands are trouble. It helps speed the learning process. As you progress you'll learn what it is about each hand that makes it good or bad... and in what situations what hands are good and bad. And then you can make your own decisions according to what type of player you are/want to be. |
