Default 2-5 NL live - do you go broke here?

This happened a few hours ago. Effective stacks are about $500 - $600. I'm not in the hand, but was curious of your thoughts:

One or two limpers, LP (tight) makes it $20. Folded to the BB (even tighter) who reraises it to $50. All fold to the LP guy who calls.

As the flop is being dealt, the BB yells "I check dark." The flop comes: 10s 8c 2s. LP bets $50. BB ponders and grabs a stack and exclaims, "$100" and puts a stack of redbirds in front of him. Not missing a beat, LP fires $250 into the pot, all quarters. Someone at the table tells the BB "$150 to you" and a few seconds pass before BB says "All-in." LP beats him into the pot.

Turn: brick. River: brick. BB sheepishly flips up AA and LP gazes over at the AA, stands up and SLAMS KK face-up. He complains "KK vs AA" and then walks out of the casino.

Can you find a fold for KK here?
Thoughts on the blind check by the BB?

you'd have to have a pretty good read on this one to fold, i hate folding anything tough live since everyone sucks anyway but the near min reraise looks like aces unless thats his standard nit 3 bet. id prob felt and feel dumb doing it.

If the dude with AA is as nitty as you said, I could fold KK. I'd need a good read otherwise I probably go broke here. Against a LAG I go broke 100% of the time. Its amazing how often you'll see someone thing A10 is good here.

I'm not sure I find a fold except against the tightest of players, but I sure as hell don't beat him into the pot..

Most of the people at the table thought LP hit a set because of the way he stood up and slammed his cards down. I thought the blind check min-raise was odd, but most of all I thought the pre-flop was suspect by both players. To answer my own question, if I'm LP - I think I go broke pre-flop!

i wouldn't have played it like lp, but he had to call the 4 bet as the hand played out. pretty hard not to go broke without a solid read though.
