Default Door Gym--anybody try it/own it?

i'm looking to expand my home gym (currently a collection of free weights + an elliptical) & i think i need to add something that reall works my back/lats. i've come up with this option:

http://www.doorgym.net/

anyone have any experience w/ this? i'd prefer this over a tower due to the space requirements of a tower. thoughts?

thats pretty sweet looking. i have one on my door that is fixed on there, this one u can take off. i had to put it up pretty high so i didn't walk into it and now when i do pullups i'm afraid of bashing my face into the door jamb.

this looks like a good buy

as long as it doesnt pull the framing off the door frame or some crap like make marks on your wall, it looks pretty cool just for the pullups and hanging leg raises you can do with it.

pullups are some of the best exercises you can do for upper body and I do them basically every back workout.

so in summary, that thing looks like it could have potential to not suck too much.

I would question their other claims just based on the statement that this device "installs in one second."

just because of the fact it can be put on and taken off in a second with no damage to the frame (if it does what it says), that is a big IF obviously.

As I opened this thread I was picturing Morty Seinfeld going crazy on the door with his workout contraption in Jerry's apartment at 5:30 in the morning.

I had one, not that exact thing, but something with the same basic design, it pulled the molding off my door a little when I used it for pullups (rental, so who cares), and left a few marks, but otherwise it worked ok.

I definitely think you should get that "flex bar". It apparently comes with a leather vest.
