saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>
SB ($96) BB ($105.90) UTG ($101.50) <font color="#C00000">Hero ($231.65)</font> <font color="#C00000">CO ($49.72)</font> Button ($99.10) Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, CO calls $4, Button calls $4, SB (poster) calls $3.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>. Flop: ($17) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $12</font>, CO calls $12, Button folds, SB calls $12. Turn: ($53) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $22</font>, CO calls $22, SB calls $22. River: ($119) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, Hero checks, CO calls $11.72 (All-In), SB folds, Hero calls $11.72. Final Pot: $180.44 (no sidepot included) I found this Turn very difficult to play. The main problem is that CO is a huge fish callingstation, and I'm very sure im ahead at flop, and still optimistic on turn as well. I got no stats from SB, so his overcalls worry me most. The mixture between a valuebet against CO, cutting drawings odds for SB, the risk for being beat already and the stacksizes of both opponents make betsizing on turn very hard. I still have no idea which line or betsize is best here. Suggestions? |

After betting the flop and getting so many callers, I think the turn is the kill card and you can easily c/f this hand.

wow. you really need to c/f this turn IMO. So many hands beat you its not even funny.

Thanks for the replies
Against 2 unknown, it would be an easy c/f, i agree. But the main problem is CO being a committed fish against whom i very likely have valuebets. Why is the 8 a killcard? Its dangerous, but should i really give up the hand because of it? If SB folded the Turn, i would be all happy. btw: its NL100SH, i forgot to add that in the topic. |

I've been thinking about it. If i do check the Turn, then SB will rarely bluffbet since the pot is protected. So if he's on a draw, he will most likely check behind. I could allow that in terms of pot control and call a not-too-large bet on river if its blank. If SB bets on turn, im gone tho.
