Default Crazy backwards writing

So I was just sitting in one of my classes daydreaming when I realized I was a few lines behind on notes. I turned to the notes of the kid next to me, but it seemed to be total gibberish. Upon further inspection he was writing everything backwards. The letters were all in order, but each was backwards. Is this at all common? Is it a form of dyslexia? I've never witnessed something like it.

As a side note the kid was also crazy in other ways. He had three pens in his right hand and one in his left, all different colors, and was constantly switching between them for various different sections of his notes.

Are you sure you don't have dyslexia?

Some people not only take their notes backwards, but they do it in Latin while they're at it.

I don't know how common it is, but I have seen the exact same thing that you're talking about.

i've seen someone do this. they were lefthanded and writing from the bottom right to the top, backwards and upside down. it was some pretty crazy [censored].

this one had obviously been trained to write like this to not smear ink.

I am left handed and write backwards sometimes. I wish I took it more seriously and could read backwards with ease since it feels more natural to write backwards if you are left handed, and you don't smudge ink. If you are left handed you can learn to do this quickly just messing around doodling sometimes, it is really easy.

BTW on a similar note, does anyone have weird left/right coordination? I snowboard natural but surf goofy, play the guitar right handed but throw a ball left handed, write left handed, use a mouse right handed to play computer games, etc... when i start a new sport or activity often I will feel uncoordinated for a long time until I work out which side of my brain I am using.
