Default Club on the Park BJ fairness...

First of all let me say I really hate these sort of posts because I have played a LOT of online blackjack and you can pretty much put it all down to variance but this place just downright [censored] stinks. Ive even tried to defend Club on occasions, again putting it down to variance, but ive been raped there so many times now I'm just not willing to play there any longer.

I dont have proof other than playing over 500000 hands of online BJ and this place consistently surprises me every single time and not once for the good.

I cant prove anything though so just take this post for what its worth which may not be a lot.

I am an active player at around 30 casinos. My total profit in the last three months is around $10,000

However, included in those 30 are two casinos (TOTE - uses same software as Club on the Park) and VIRGIN .... where I am down in excess of $2,500 EACH in the last three months.

In other words, I have made $15,000 from 28 casinos, and lost $5,000 on two Casinos, for a net $10,000 profit.

However, just because I always seem to lose heavily at these two casinos it does not mean that they are rigged.

You cannot expect to win at every single casino you play. You have to consider variance.

Use Excel to create a spreadsheet of every casino you play, every bonus you chase, every type of game you play and the stakes you use ...

e.g.

10/02 Virgin 100/100/3500 Blackjack - Flat $10 -$140
11/02 Tote 75/75/3000 10-play JoB - 25c lines +$164

It only needs to be as basic as that.

Once you have a few months data accumulated you will see patterns ... some bonuses you win on, some you will lose on ... the important thing is ensuring that overall, across your casino base, you make a profit.

Of course I would love to have had the hindsight that told me three months ago not to play Virgin/Tote for the next three months ... I would then have increased my profit by 50% ... but life is not like that

Always look at the bigger picture and don't get hung up on the smaller detail

Which BJ were you playing at Virgin? Wagerworks Player's Suite BJ is known to be unfair, as listed at http://www.beatingbonuses.com/warningwg.htm . In contrast, I believe Table BJ is fair.

I do not have player stats for Virgin, but I do for Totesport. It is along the same lines as the other Playtechs I listed a couple days ago. Referred players average a net gain in a reasonable range of expectations.

I trust Wizard of Odds over Johnny Random's bonus site, and he seems to think everything is legit:

That game list at Wizard of Odds does not include Player's Suite BJ or other varieties of BJ, so it is likely out of date. And printing a games strategy list, does not mean that all games used by the software must be fair.

Wizard of Odds does perform analyses to confirm fair games for some SWs. These analyses are similar to the stats for Player's Suites BJ listed in the link above. For example, compare the method Wizard of Odds uses to suggest unfair play at COA at http://wizardofodds.com/casinos/casinobar.html and the stats listed at http://www.beatingbonuses.com/warningwg.htm .

It was Players suite ... and have also done 21+3 players suite.

I am sceptical that it would be bent - note that I am in profit at Paddy Power and Blue Square - who use the same software.

However I will switch to Table Blackjack for the next couple of BJ bonuses there - but if I win that could always be positive variance
