Why would you want to do that?

I would RR pre, then get stacked on the flop.

I would have reraised preflop.

I would have raised more the first time on the flop.

preflop; reraise, you have position.
was a raise or fold decision on the flop after his RR to 70.
i think i would fold here. on the other hand, you have no read so a call is reasonable... but...

J 10 is a option, split pot (AK) is a option, AA KK QQ. i prefer folding.

This doesn't make sense to me. "Reraise, you have AK" makes sense, but not this.

The advantage of position must surely be bigger the more money there is to play with, since there will be more streets to play in which to use your position to your advantage. Also, if you put in the last raise on the flop, the other guy is more likely to check to you on the flop regardless of his holding.

So, by reraising, you make for a bigger pot with less future betting and get less information from his action on the flop, i.e. you all but throw away your positional advantage.

This is not to say that you shouldn't reraise here; but it seems to me that the reasoning above is backwards.

Guy.

say villain is typical, a reraise preflop gives you information about his hand and you have position. If he has AA KK he will probably reraise our bet and he will call with hands like QQ or AK. i agree with your argument that there is less money left for gaining information but if he checks the flop and you make a 3/4 potbet and got reraised all-in there is way to get off your hand.
