Default New SitnGo/Tourney Software

Hi.

I am the author of the datamining and tableselection tool named SpadeEye.
I now have developed a new tool for analyzing improving the sitngo / tourneyplay named SpadeICM.

As the name says it is based on ICM calculations.
In contrast to other existing tools i wanted to make a more "easier"/"familiar" to use tool.
That's why it has some kind of graphical interface instead of the form interfaces that other tools might have.

As for now SpadeICM consists of mainly 4 parts:
- A ICM Calculator to calculate the $-value of your chips.

- A Bubble/final table trainer where you are confronted with random situations and a decision you have to make.
There are several options to customize the scenarios, for example "number of player", type of hand, blindstructure and so on...
It's some kind of "learning by playing" to get the experience when a Push is +EV and when not.

- The 3rd part of SpadeICM is some kind of editor where you can specify your own situations and evaluate them.

- It is also possible to import your Pokerstars, FullTilt or PartyPoker sitngo / tourney handhistories and analyze/review your play. See where you made mistakes.

For all this operations SpadeICM computes the EV of a Push and compares it against the EV of a Fold.
But not only the EV is computed it is also the complete pushing/calling range which gets computed, to see, what the minimum hand for a push is.

SpadeICM is now ready for public beta testing so you might want to take a look. See

for details or direct download without setup here:

Just unzip and run SpadeICM.exe .

Thanks in advance
Sven

Like to try it but the zip file won't unzip (reads as corrupt) and the self-installer also won't run, giving an error message about a cab file being corrupt.

That fixed the install problem.

Nice job developing this app. It is impressive and it looks like it might end up being a really useful tool for analyzing SNG or final table play.

One problem however. I used it to look at one of my tournaments and it immediately came on a hand with two limpers and me in the sb and said I should have pushed rather than called. I decided to examine and maybe modify the default hand ranges for the shortstacked limpers and found it had them as limping with approx. the top 12% of hands?! Moreover it was impossible to plug in anything but "top x%" ranges. Realistic ranges for these shortstacked limpers do not include the very top hands like TT+ or AJ+, so there needs to be a way to exclude the top hands from the simulated ranges. Did I miss something or is this a limitation of the software?

Thanks for the feedback.

Indeed such a "limping"-range is missing.
I will add something to close this gap.

You're welcome. The ideal would be that the user could create a range by clicking hands on the hand matrix you provide and/or type in their own ranges (a la SNGPT).

Okay i put up a new version 0.97:
- Fixed some bugs in the editor
- Added a slider to allow the creation of handranges which exclude the top x% of the hands.
- Fixed some minor bugs with the handhistoryimport
