Default Live 5/5 flopped donk end of a straight

Effective stacks vs button ~700. Villain on button is pretty much a donk but hard to read because his plays pretty much don't make sense. I'm pretty sure he considers 2 pair the nuts on this board but I'm not entirely sure of his tendancies but he is definately a donk.

I have A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the SB.

Bunch of limpers limped around

Flop 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot~30)

I lead for 25 solid pro calls from EP another super donk calls in MP and donk villain raises to 75 on button. I tank and decide to make it 400 straight. I don't think he folds 2pr+ or a pair/open ended.

This pretty much commits me to the pot not sure if its better to raise less and fold to a push?

If the smart pro moves at the pot maybe I'd fold. Any of the donks, I'll get stacked by a bigger straight, but hands like this should get you paid...let it.

forgot to mention pro is not much of a concern on flop b/c he definately does not mess around and would raise me pretty much 100% in a multi way pot like this with a str8 although i guess you never know b/c he is playing lower than usual.

Then it's ram-a-jam time...

I might raise less just cause you don't want to scare off any customers, but there's no chance I'm folding this if one of the donks four bets in...

400 is a bit excessive to 3bet to, but i like how you played it.

Yea i mean i guess what I have been thinking about is whether I should raise less so I don't commit myself or if I'm committed regardless (against the donks of course). I often overbet my made hands in this game and it works well against the donks as they always think i'm making a move and it charges them on their draws (they still call often enough). I just hate having no redraw if I'm beat here. I mean I'd almost rather have 55 in this spot.

I'll play you 100 times for $200 each...you get 55 and I get A2 on that board.

:-p

dude live 500nl "pros" are 25$/hour grinders or they would have moved up. i do not expect him to be able to do anything but get all in here with a set.

by the way don't tank with the straight. think for 20-30 seconds and make your move. it probably doesn't make a difference at this level, but when you play higher the live pros will read it. it probably doesn't even matter if you balance, if an unknown tank-shoves its a value bet.
