Trouble did hit the Strip late Friday: Las Vegas Metro Police briefly closed down the glamorous drag after officers heard shots fired near the Bellagio. A woman was taken into custody and held for investigation of discharging a firearm. Authorities did not release her name or explain why she fired her weapon.

There were no problems at ICE Las Vegas on Thursday night - the only hint of illegal activity was the tangy aroma of high-quality marijuana - but the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, eager keep the peace, made sure everybody in the parking lot saw the department's muscle.

Police are investigating a shooting inside the parking garage at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

It happened just before 4 a.m. following a fight that involved several people. One person was shot in the hip and is expected to recover.

Guests inside the parking garage were held for hours, while police investigated the scene.

The only gossip I have to report is Chris Duhon (of da Bulls) was playing 2/5NL @ the Wynn on Friday night instead of being drunk at a club doing that dance where you pump your fists and move your arms down as if you're climbing down a ladder.

Needless to say, he was hounded by several groups of NBA female groupies, two extremely hot blondes wearing close to nothing...

he then left his chips and dissapeared for a while with a very thick and nasty looking girl who was showing off how she can make her fake boobs move up and down at the table...

he didn't return

other than that, the only gossip was that Vegas was a complete nightmare this weekend and I pray to my lord and savior Jesus Christ that the NBA never again falls upon LV
