BB special. Or is it?
NL $1-2 Live, bought in for $100, up to $170. Villain has $500+. He is somewhat loose, somewhat aggressive and somewhat tricky. You have been tight pre and post flop. You are dealt 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB.
4 limpers into you. Flop: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] You check and villain in MP bets $10, folded back to you and you make it $30. Villain thinks for a long while (for him, he usually bets quickly) and calls. everyone else has folded. Turn J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] You take a moment to consider what hands that helps and lead out for $45 and Villain quickly makes it $90. Your move. |

Re: BB special. Or is it?
I agree with aislephive. It's not about the $45 now but the $100 on the river you won't be able to call.
The only thing you beat here is XhJh and QJ and it takes a very aggressive, very tricky opponent to play those hands this way here. Don't pay $145 to find out. |
