What min edge should I use for calling in SNGPT?
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
UTG (t3035) UTG+1 (t2995) CO (t3240) Button (t975) SB (t1590) Hero (t1665) Preflop: Hero is in BB with XX: UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB raises to t1590 (All-in), Hero ??? This situation occurs often in 27s & 60s. Villain is an absolute ATC pusher. If I use the 0.5% standard then I should be calling with 45% of hands. However, as I feel I am one of the better players at the table, I should be able to get myself into better situations later in the tournament. On the negative side, obviously an ATC pusher will continue to push every orbit so I wont get long to make my move. What % min edge do others consider needed before calling in this situation? FWIW, I wouldnt consider anything like loose calling with a view to sending a message as these type of one dimensional players arent generally cleverer enough to take note (JMHO!) Thanks in advance for any responses. |
