Default stars fpps = rakeback?

Ive read somewhere that instead of rakeback that the stars fpps are as good as rakeback. I am wondering how this is and what I can use my fpps on that would be as good as rakeback.

FTP: you get 27% of your MGR given back to you direct to your poker account

Stars: depending on the level you are at you can get near this amount and sometimes more, though it is for tournament buy-ins or merchandise...though these things can easily be turned into cash w/ a bit of work/ebay etc. So in that way, it is very similar to rakeback...though you don't do it through an affiliate, you do it through Stars.

I've heard a lot of talk that the games have gotten a lot tougher lately on Stars, though this obviously depends on what games you play.

Dont forget on FTP there a lot of deductions. Any merchandise you buy, bonuses, cost of deposits, freerolls etc are all deducted from your Rakeback.

Hi at what levels would you need to play in order to get this much value from your FPP's? Platinum or higher? Also how would you calculate what you are currently getting?
