Default 200 NL- Value from set turning into quads?

Villian is a 27/8/2.3 over 100 hands. No other reads.
(I suck at converting.)

Seat 1: zslave ($166.40 in chips)
Seat 3: Coolmicha ($42.15 in chips)
Seat 4: zlattee_ ($256.90 in chips)
Seat 5: LUVTHEGUTTY ($135.85 in chips)
Seat 6: rolonrolon ($228.30 in chips)
Coolmicha: posts small blind $1
zlattee_: posts big blind $2

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to rolonrolon [Kh Kd]
LUVTHEGUTTY: folds
rolonrolon: raises $6 to $8
zslave: calls $8
Coolmicha: folds
zlattee_: folds

*** FLOP *** [Qd Ks 4d]
rolonrolon: checks
zslave: bets $10
rolonrolon: calls $10

I check here to see if he'll bet. I should have bet, I know. Problem is I had been at the table and this is the first hand I played.
*** TURN *** [Qd Ks 4d] [Kc]
rolonrolon: checks
zslave: checks

Once I make quads, I don't know what he'll call with so I check again.
*** RIVER *** [Qd Ks 4d Kc] [6s]
rolonrolon: checks
zslave: checks

Same thinking as above.

Maybe the worst hand I've ever played? How do I get value from this?

Start with not checking 3 streets.

Yeah, sorry for posting. I was pissed because he showed aces =( and I missed out on a stack. So yeah, (stupid) post of the year?

If you bet the flop and get called, why bet the turn?

Edit : Btw, obviously I agree that you should bet the flop, I'm just not certain that a bet on the turn afterwards makes more money than checking. AA was a surprise.

Hehe sorry, I can see my post is unclear.

All I'm saying is that when I turn quads, what hands without a K call my bet? Wouldn't it be better to give villain a chance to bluff at the pot, or maybe hit a flush? I guess AQ,JQ and the surprising AA could call on the turn, but I think a lot of players will sense big weakness in the turn check, and try to bluff me off the hand.

I see your point. And I sort of agree somewhat.

My head hurts from OP checking top set, then quads, twice!

I'm going along the lines of worst hand ever played, yea lol. Bet flop, if he's calling station bet turn, if he's a rele big calling station pot river. If not, then make a 1/2 pot bet if u think he calls with Q, or check to him to let him bluff off missed JT or AT, then raise all in. Biggest waste of quads ever lol.
