Is there any benefit to going to an Apple store to buy a Mac versus buying it online?
I'm just looking for a plug and play iMac. Is eBay worth scouting out? I know Apple.com has refurbs but I haven't seen anything there yet. Thanks! |

You get it now at the apple store but there is no price advantage. You can look on ebay for last gen apples but won't find much of a price advantage for current level and there is always the risk of getting crap. Discount Macs is a bit of an oxymoron.

Go for a refurb if you can wait. Full warranty, and sometimes you get free goodies! My iBook came with double the ram and a bigger hard drive.
