2/4 - top pair turns mid, keep betting field OOP?
Villain: Unknown. Just sat down.
Button: 52/10 HERO in BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Button open limps, SB raises, Hero calls, Button calls FLOP: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB bets, Hero raises, Button calls TURN: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero...? Is this an easy bet/fold? Bet/call down? Does it matter if button comes along? |

I don't think folding is an option here unless it comes back two more bets to you. Even if he has a K you may have 9 outs here, Q, J, T. Button probably has some kind of straight draw, possibly tainting your J outs. I'd bet-call the turn and probably fold the river, if I don't improve, if raised on the turn.

Re: 2/4 - top pair turns mid, keep betting field OOP?
4.5 bbs in the pot at the moment... this is kinda tough I dont know if we can bet fold its pretty borderline. If we re getting 6:1 and give ourselves 6.5 outs on avg we have to call a raise. So im not sure if that means we should bet call, fold the river UI or try to check and call a river bet?
I like betting better I think im putting Button on a str draw that wasnt KQ KJ or QJ since he limped and sb probably calls with AJ AQ on this board and im not sure u ever get to put another bet in ahead if u check so... |

I bet/call
Bet/folding is horrible with the gutter. Check/calling is no good either, I want value from those draws that button isnt betting. |

[/ QUOTE ] How often when we're raised are our outs good here. The best hand for us outs wise is AK that would raise us. Jstill why can't the button have KQ, KJ, QJ here? They seem like likely hands to me after he cold calls a flop raise. Maybe its running bad but it seems like we are overestimating both our outs and the times we're ahead on this very bad turn card. However, bet/call seems best because of the 2+2 dogma that has been burned into my brain. |

Re: 2/4 - top pair turns mid, keep betting field OOP?
well we dont need 10 outs to call we only need 6 so as long as a Q and T will give us a winner most of the time we have to call a raise. (do we have 6 outs on avg here i dont know for sure but probably)
Button can have KQ KJ or QJ I never rule out anything, but if hes not raising those on the button i dont know where his 10% pfr is comin from, so they should be discounted some anyways (also sometimes KQ or KJ wont call two cold on the flop). |
