some ways to play EV+ bj without counting:

- match play coupons
- BJ pays 2-1 promotions
- finding dealers that flash hole cards and adjusting play accordingly (best not to get caught on this one, but it's legal in vegas, etc - so long as you're not conspiring with the dealer)
- find a player that surrenders way too often and buy some of his hands for half price. You can also offer him discounted insurance (for example he has $200 bet out, the house charges $100 for insurance but you offer it to him for $90). this one won't last long before the pit/dealer makes you stop.

also, buying other player's profitable double downs and splits if they're not willing to pay themselves. Renzey's book has good info on this.

I've done this but feel kind of bad sometimes. for example player 11 vs dealer 7 and I buy his double down and he gets a deuce he's kind of screwed. I'm not sure of any way around that.
