Default $225 KK v. Sheets

Villain is a tight, solid multitabler.

Play this any differently?

I would put sheets on TT+, AQ+ to raise from UTG. I would reduce that range to JJ+, AK to call your re-raise. You are only beating AK on the flop, and then you are ahead of nothing on the turn. I am folding the turn against a tight/solid (nitty) MT such as Sheets.

BTW - Nice check on the river. He was value checking all day.

Looks fine sometimes I might flat call preflop.

It is a valid arguement. Sheets defiantly made the bet small for a reason. He probably anticipated you trying to raise that weak 200 on the turn. I want to throw this hand away so bad. I guess we do have to call the turn b/c of the immediate pot odds we are getting.

With that said you played the hand perfectly.

Sheets turn bet is not to induce a bluff it's a really thin vb because he knows DDbeast will call this with AA or KK.

Any idea what his range is?

e - I thought he min raised UTG so NM the AA comment. He opens a fair number of pots (def not a nit) but could he really have AQ here? Does he know who you are?

I would probably push the flop. Pot is just too big to play it safe.
