For instance, I suspect you found this particular blog post compelling. Perhaps you could tell us why you find it compelling.

I, for one, would rather not have this forum become a place where people start threads just to post links to blogs.

I think posts that are basically links to blogs are really bad form let alone being utterly idiotic. His posts that do that aren't getting many replies which is why I haven't responeded yet. But since you did then I will now. I think they're close enough if not already spamming the board. Maybe a sticky with links to blogs across the political spectrum would be better but I don't particularly like that idea either. I hate to say it but the moderator is falling down on the job here and I think he's leaving himself wide open for accusations of having his political bias show through in allowing an obviously left wing blog to have it's links posted.

3. Keep one line posts to a minimum, especially OP's. You have to provide content once in a while. OPs with only a link and minimal description are not allowed.

- Debates on my moderating are more appropriate for PM or ATF
- You guys are right that bare links like this are annoying.
- If you guys think I'm going to start banning people for first offence violations of minor rules like this, you got another thing coming.
