Default Check the Flop?

Villains here are all loose passive with SB being a total loose passive showdown monkey. SB will never fold any piece of anything and will usually not fold nothing until at least the river. Given that do you bet the flop?

Why bet the flop if they won't fold? There's no value bet to be made on the flop against three players, especially when they are known to cling. Maybe against two.

I check the flop.

I actually don't like your turn raise here.

If you have JT, QJ, and random aces peeling this flop, there is value in a flop bet... I like the turn raise too but as a free SD raise... I'd check behind on the river.

I prefer calling the turn, the BB could of been goin for the checkraise on the flop but missed out so bets turn. If he has the K ur losing 2bets, however if you call your more likely to get overcalls from weak holdings. Also you dont like getting 3bet.

How often does a flop bet get you to the river?

If the SB is truly a showdown monkey, then this hand is very well played every street. NH.

I dont understand why we are raising this turn?

They are all loose passive so the guy betting bet into 3 opps, its not a drawy board, he could have a legitimate hand because he played check to the raiser on the flop.

The pot is now smallish because of no action on flop, you want people with Qx to call, and you assume they go to showdown with any pair(?) so I think I prefer calling

I like the raise as a free showdown raise. The J turn gives both straight and flush draws out there something to look at - so once the turn hits it is no longer quite a dry board. And if they are loose calling stations, then they may call the two cold taking the worst of it.

SB calling two cold may be worrisome (despite the OPs comments), and that river T scares me because of that - lots of two pair and straight draws got there. Even donkeys find hands. Depending on how big a donkey (read dependent) I may find a check at the end.
