People Who Don't Use AIM

It always surprises me when someone tells me they don't use AIM...but I think there are a significant number of people out there who don't use it. And I'm not just talking about old people - although it is mainly them - but younger people too... You people who don't use AIM could you please explain? TY

I do use it now and then but there is only 1 person on it that I never get sick of talking to, so often times i just don't feel like chatting with anyone. i like my privacy. also i can't multitask all that well.

I used ICQ/AIM/whatever in college and it just got super annoying quick. I can't get [censored] done on my computer when everyone keeps talking to me. I already multitask on my computer. I'm not adding a full blown conversation to it all.

Some people don't use it because they can't during working hours or for other work related reasons. Some use gmail chat or other types of messaging tools instead that do not require downloaded software.

In europe is all about msn messenger baby. I dont know a single person that doesnt use it regularly. I guess its the same with AIM for u guys.

If any of my friends sat in front of their pcs for hours on end like I do, I'd use aim.

i really hate it when i want to talk to someone or they want to talk to me but they only have msn or some [censored] like that and so they suggest that i get msn messenger. why the [censored] should i convert to your garbage, AIM is the nationwide default, everyone should have it.
