i hate these spots. how do you feel the villain views you? could it be possible he called you with a pair on hte flop and just made a worse 2 pair?? how about a float and figures the over card may have beatn your TP.
i find it so hard to fold in these spots. maybe its something i need to consider more often, but i usually call here and just consider it a cooler if he has j10 or a set. |

bump for me losing all my febuary profit today [/ QUOTE ] I don't have much to add to the hand. I probably call, but I'm a station sometimes and it's not good. Just quoting to say that I just did the same thing and it sucks. |

Agreed that these spots just make ya sick. You're getting 2.8 to 1 which is certainly a very nice price on the river when you have top two, but villain could absolutely have flopped a set or turned the nuts. My reaction to these bets are totally villain specific, and at almost 3 to 1 you're in that gray area where you just don't know what to do. 5 to 1 and you have to call, 2 to 1 and its looking more like a nearly always fold. If Villain appears reasonable I would probably lean toward mucking.
Tough one. |
