Default Sucky AK spot preflop

HH got messed up because my connection dropped on the turn, so i'll try make the action up

UTG is readless, i'm only 20 hands deep with him at the table. CO is solid, and probably a 2+2er.

6 players,
UTG+1 $200
Hero $400
CO $280

Preflop, Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $7, Hero reraises to 24, CO insta minreraises to $41, button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 thinks for a few seconds then calls, hero folds.

Should i be calling here? That minraise is so fishy, especially from a good player, and then the call in front is weird.

If the CO is solid, he is only miniraising there with hands that he wants to be called against (AA/KK). The UTG+1's hesitant call might signify JJ/QQ. Considering the solid CO's 4bet, I like your fold.

Such a weird hand. I probably end up calling, but I am obviously disgusted about it. Also, CO's line is extremely extremely weird if you peg him as a good player, maybe a misclick?

Folding is certainly viable, but if they were suited, this is an instacall.

The call from UTG+1 makes the pot bigger making me want to call. But the mini 4-bet is almost always a good hand wanting action so I like the fold

If CO is solid this must be a misclick. If we push do you think UTG+1 will fold?

its pretty easy fold.

even if it could be a worse hand, you have a very hard time playing after the flop.

Push is good if villain is very very aggro.

I should mention that even though i said CO was solid, it was from limited experience. He just seemed like a decent tag. I am glad most people agree with a fold though. Say i hadn't though, i want people's opinions on the rest of the hand.

Pot is $126 on the flop.

Flop is
K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, hero ?

And whats my plan for the rest of the hand?

I don't think there is any doubt that the CO will bet this flop to protect his AA/KK/AK. Would a blocking bet work here?

on the flop you should check.

if CO bets, you want UTG to call and price you in.

what you don't want is to bet and have CO raise all in and UTG fold, because even though you'll be priced in to call CO's raise, its not as EV as having UTG also in there.

This is assuming we're putting CO on TT-AA, AK.

I just realised, against that range, I'm a 55% favourite. With three players, I'm 40/30/30. There's a lot of dead money in the pot. CRAI?
