Default Going All In Before The Flop....

I just sat down at the table. Been watching table for awhile before I sat down to get the flow of the game :- ) . It seems to be a VERY conservative bunch. I sit and see K8 off and immediately shove. My view is that they will not call me nearly ever ESPECIALLY at this table. Also there are a lot of shorties at the table so in the even that I was call it wouldnt have been a big deal and I would have plenty of outs even up against rockets. My view with this table after watching for a half hour is that I can get people to lay down most pocket pairs here in this situation unless its a premium pair. Another reason I think this is interesting is because it lets people know I'm willing to gamble so I can easily get paid off when I hit a hand ;- ) If they see me going in with king eight when they see me turn over rockets the next time they wont know what hit em ;- )

What do you want us to do? Say good shove? Because I don't think anyone is going to say, good play bro, you risked $10 to get 35 cents!

I see what you're going for, trying to get a loose table image, but you're going about it the wrong way. When they see you shove an unraised pot all in for 100bb, your opponents aren't going to be thinking "wow, he's really playing loose", they'll be thinking "stupid FISH!!!" and give you 0 respect.

If you want to get this image, run a bluff, and show when you get your opponent to fold. Do this a couple of times, and players will believe you're playing loose, AND they'll have to give you some respect because they know you are capable of pulling off a bluff

Although 98% of the players at the $0.05/0.10 tables are completely oblivious to all of this anyways, so your efforts might go completely unnoticed

Well I didnt think this handwould get quite so much hostility but it did. It worked so looks like I'm better off for it. OBVIOUSLY this is not something you want to do everytime but to get some action started!!

You're confusing results with expectations.

You would have to do this almost 30 times to make $10 if they always folded. However, if your opponents only call with AA, KK, QQ, they'll take roughly an expected $24 off you in the process of you trying to win that $10.

This play has a negative expected value. The fact that it worked once is irrelevant.
