Default Pokerstars points system Vs. Rakeback

I have just taken up cash games, and have made Pokerstars my home. The points system is alluring, but I'm not sure whether a site that offers rakeback would just be better.

Does the points system on PS anywhere near make up for the lack of rakeback on the site?

Thanks for any opinions.

For me the point system combined with the large soft game selection totally make for it in terms of hourly wage. Their rake is also significantly less then some other sites like Absolute.

can you elaborate on PS point system. i play primarily on PS. FPPs dont equal cash so to me they are near useless unless i buy the stuff in their store. They offer next to nothing really bar reloads.
