GTA for XBOX 360

I've been reading up about GTA coming out for XBOX 360 and it looks as though San Andreas will be coming out for 360 in October. Will this feature any additions from the PS2 version? I've never played or seen the PS2 version of San Andreas so it doesn't make the big of a difference to me, just curious.

Yes, GTA4 is slated to come out in Oct. I would just as soon assume that San Andreas (normal Xbox version) will be backwards compatible on the 360 eventually.

It's already backwards compatible for everywhere except Japan. I can check the European version when I get home tonight.

Oh, sorry guys, for some reason I interpreted it as the version coming out for 360 in October was San Andreas. So it'll be a brand new version?

I read that it will be in London, since that is where GTA 1 or 2 was supposed to have started.

Here's how it goes:

The first level in GTA1 was Liberty City, which is remade in GTA3.

Second level in GTA1 was Vice City, hence GTA: Vice City.

Third level in GTA1 was San Andreas, hence GTA: San Andreas.

Then there was an expansion for GTA1 called GTA: London, so that's where those rumors come from. We'll see.

Incidentally, the London expansion was much better than the original GTA levels.

GTA2 takes place in a crappy futuristic world. Could be cool in 3D though if they did something like a mix between Blade Runner and Back to the Future Part II. Speaking of which, GTA time travel would be nice...

That's right it was an expansion. That's why I couldn't remember if it was 1 or 2. Never played GTA until 3 came along though. Wherever it ends up being, I'm expecting it will be one of the greatest games ever.
