It seems like I'm always run into a premium hand or an underdog, that draws out on me .. I actually wanted to post a lot of hands. But there are too much I'm not sure about anymore. Do you guys think I should make my own thread where I keep posting? |

Re: 16$ - 9 BB left, fold AQ first in?
Seven handed, and an M of 6, AQ is 90% better than the trash I've pushed with. Since the stacks are so close together, you can do one of two things:
1) Raise 3 BB to 600, hope everyone backs down. If you get re-raised and placed in situation where your hand might be marginal you're down to ~1200 if you fold which is still enough to scare everyone else when the highest M is 7 or 8 and the average 5 or 6, not incredibly that much different from your your now M of ~4. Be aware though, you're going to have to shove many times to regain ground but you're still in the hunt. 2) Slam all in. This depends on the table, if it's been mega loose with all-in calls (probably at this point), you're probably be running into a coin flip or better. Since you're pretty far from the bubble and cashing uncertain, doubling up here maybe worth the risk of busting out with nothing at all. |

This is a push, doesn't matter how wide they are calling.
portisfreak we don't use HoH's M in sit-n-gos - we use ICM. |

I don't see a problem with this at all. Without any specific reads or anything its a fine autopush situation.
Good job, screw results... [ QUOTE ] It seems like I'm always run into a premium hand or an underdog, that draws out on me .. [/ QUOTE ] Seems this will be my quote of the week.. “We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful what we pretend to be.” Kurt Vonnegut. Or my version... “The world is what we pretend it to be, so we must be careful what we pretend it to be.” And yes it sucks when people draw out.. that's life. |

Re: 16$ - 9 BB left, fold AQ first in?
Oh, I've been doing very well for ~2.000 SNGs. 1.000 SNGs ago I had my last downswing, but it wasn't as hard as the one I'm into right now. I read a lot and I begin to doubt that I'm a winning player at all .. and this downswing seems to influence my game too much. So I have to get the confirmation I'm not making too many errors and need to know what my failures are ..
StregaChess: Are you making fun or me? I don't get the irony in your post, but maybe it is because english isn't my native language So, no offense .. |

If you had a non-donwswing streak of 1000 sngs, this is a huge upswing.
What Chess is trying to say is: AQo is nutz. Stop being result orientated! |

Push PF and there's no other option.
portisfreak, if you're pushing many junk hands in this position you're losing a ton of money. I'd shove 77+, AJ+ here. Any lower than that isn't gunna be much good I'm afraid. |

Re: 16$ - 9 BB left, fold AQ first in?
If the table is tight, I raise to 550 or 600. If the table is loose, I push.
It would also depend on my table image. Similarly, if I have a loose image, I push and if I have a TAG image, I raise. There are also other factors like when the blinds are going up, the stacks of the others, how good a player I am compared to the others and how many players are still active behind me. |
