Default Blind battle

I haven't played LHE lately except for heads up. I try to readjust playing 3/6.
This is from a table I was playing very LAG. Villain is 21/13/2 solid looking. I am not sure how he plays postflop but I expect him to play a wider range and defend more aggressively against my style. I am pretty sure he thinks I'm tilting as well.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero caps</font>, BB calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8SB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, BB calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, BB calls.

River: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (11BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises</font>

I think It's a call getting 14:1. You are extremely likely losing here, but the odds are just too big to fold.

I wouldn't cap PF with your image.

I wouldn't be able to fold the river in such a huge pot in a SB against BB confrontation, so the only question for me is whether to check/call or bet/call. I prefer check/calling unless you think he won't raise the river with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], or if you think he'd play faster on the flop with the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I capped PF not so much for postflop FE but more b/c I think he's opened up a lot his 3-bet range. But I don't do it 100% of times of course.

On the river I think I have to take advantage of my image and bet since he's not folding anything even A-hi I suspect.
But maybe if he's bad enough he'll try a desperate bluff if I check with something like QJ or A-hi ?

I don't think anyone is folding the river with these odds (?)

I don't think he's folding any made hand much, but I don't see how he can call the river with ace high unless you're a maniac, if he even semibluffed that. I wouldn't expect him to bluff much if you check. I think all options suck but I'm thinking check/calling sucks least as I don't know if you have enough to put in 2 bets, unless you have more of a read that we can discount A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and he wouldn't raise the river with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], or maybe if you think it'll induce a bluff raise.

I'm glad you point this because it was a big part of deciding to bet the river. I'm not sure how much ppl consider this when they play or whether they think it's worth of serious consideration.

You guys need to elaborate on how any potential bluffing hands get to the river after the preflop and turn action. What are they? Diamondless QJ? Diamondless AK that suddenly hates its chances?

I don't mind a bet-fold.

It's true there are not a lot of bluffing hands on the river.
He showed A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Don't really understand what he was trying to do there and I'm still confused since he really looked solid
