Villan is new to the table, no clear reads. I have been trying to value bet the river more, and thought that this might be a good spot......

Weird line by Villain. Bet/fold I guess. I usually WTF check here though.

uhhhh I don't want to bet this, but that river check by bb is really weird...I guess check the river and see wtf he had.

I am bet calling here. There is a good chance you are ahead here. I don't know why you have bet/fold as an option. If you bet and then he raises there are 13BB in the pot. You are going to be paying off for one more BB in a pot that size.

I think if you bet and get raised and end up paying off a better hand, take note of if he tries a donk bet on the turn and then checks the river again. Who knows, you could use it as a tell if it means he has a strong hand on the turn. In which case you can start checking and his river play is -EV.

Just out of curiousity, why are you cool cats checking here? Maybe my game is all jacked up. Maybe my agro factor on the river is to high cuse of this too.

Seems like a donk bet to me. If he is any what smart, the villian would possibly make an assumption that our hero is gonna check behind after being raised on the turn. So if he wanted to get more money in the pot with the best hand, he would bet. At least thats what I am assuming of an unknown at these stakes. Maybe he is just an A-MAZING player that gets everyone to go "WTF"

Villain's play is consistant w/ a T maybe or even a 7, but probably not an 8... also not a flush....
