Default PP .50/1 QQ turn decision OOP

Hey everyone, Here's a qq hand i played tonight and I'd like some comments on.

Villian is 28/15/1.3 after 100 hands or so.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($95.30)
Button ($73.25)
Hero ($163.62)
BB ($36.50)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG raises to $3.5, 1 fold, Hero (poster) raises to $11, 1 fold, UTG calls $8.

Flop: ($24) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $17, UTG calls $17.

Turn: ($58) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero ???

Are we check folding here? or leading and folding to a push? or leading and calling a push with the oesd? If leading is an option, how much should i bet when he only has ~$66 left?

Cheers,
runstop

Check/evaluate. Usually fold though unless he gives you a great price for your draw.

Bet 30 call shove looks good to me. Is he really calling a 3-bet with AK/AQ then peeling that flop? Wouldn't sets raise this drawy flop? I think you are up against an AJ/88/99 type of hand a lot. True KK and AA might just call your 3-bet pf but wouldn't they normally raise this flop?

So I guess any line that doesn't involve folding would be the best IMO whether it's c/c or bet/call.

Unless the villain wouldn't raise the flop wiht JJ/TT, then I don't know what to do LOL

Yeah, each one of these options went through my head. I actually bet ~$35 and called a shove, but I'm thinking that a check/evaluate might have been ok, too. I'm not gonna sweat this one much.

id reraise more preflop since you are playing OOP - i swear it helps define hands more too.

I think we beat VERY little here and its sick but id prolly check and most likely fold to any reasonably sized bet.

raise more PF.
consider checking flop. gives you a better chance to get actin on the turn from PPs you have crushed that would otherwise fold flop if you bet. anything he calls flop with either has you in terrible shape or drawing very live (AcKc etc).

as palyed, on turn check and hope he checks behind so you can spike an A or 9.
if he bets more than 1/3 pot im folding. because really, what exactly are you ahead of here? if you get all in on this turn you're always drawing to a max of 8 outs.

this is a spot where i would definitely not want to go broke with my flopped overpair

I raise to 13 preflop.

I would bet around 34 and call a shove.

What hand can villian have that the K scares us??
It's not AK cuz he didn't fold the flop. The K changes nothing except helping us.

Bet $40-$45 and call a push

Hi. I'm new here and just wanted to say hello before I attempt to make my first post. I have read thru almost all of the stickied material and would very much like to learn more from everyone here. Anyway, here goes...

The only hand that makes sense for the villian to float the flop would be AKc. Preflop, he bet and then called your raise. On the flop he flat called. The board is much too dangerous to flat call with anything other than some sort of big draw. If the villian does have AKc, he is now ahead of you and has multiple outs to improve his hand even farther. I agree with Cs3 that checking and evaluating after his bet/check is appropriate here given the dangerous board.
