Default Hand vs BodogAri, Final Table Warm Up

After the tourney, I thought I made an obvious mistake in this hand, but then I talked with some internet friends and the opinions were split, so what do you think?

This is the hand:

PS Warm Up Sunday Tourney

5 players left

Payouts: 5th is 18k, 4th is 23k, 1st is 80k

Stacks are between 2 Million and 5M

Blinds are 100k-200k with 10k ante

Ari is in the button with around 2.3M

I'm in the CO with around 3.1M

Both blinds cover us.

I open to 600k with AT

Ari reraises to 1.9M leaving himself with 400k (basically AI)

Your move?

i think that your opening frequency and ari's resteal frequency are both pretty important here. I think you should call (well, go all in, but hes never folding) here since I think a reasonable range for him might be 55+, KQ, A8+ or something and I'm pretty sure you have odds, I'm too lazy to stove it though.

The fact that he didn't move AI doesn't mean anything from a good player like bodogari.

You're getting 3.2 to 1.7 so you need like ~34.5% equity. I would think your hand is prob in the middle-upper part of your perceived range even though you had been playing pretty tight.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 36.295% 34.17% 02.13% 716121192 44574990.00 { ATo }
Hand 1: 63.705% 61.58% 02.13% 1290588924 44574990.00 { 66+, ATs+, KQs, AJo+, KQo }

I couldn't imagine bodogari restealing much tighter than this.

I stick it in vs an aggro player all day long and I also have heard of his love for small pairs.

As mikej accidentally pointed out, this is an easy call because even if Ari's way tighter than he actually is here, you're still almost getting odds to call.

Wait, how was it accidental? It's the "middle-upper..." stuff, right?

I was pointing out that even in the worst case scenario you should call. I.e. 66+/ATs+/AJo+/KQ is worst case scenario.

Sorry.. I totally misread your post. You're right that it's a call, and your reasoning's good too.
