Default $2/5: worst beat of my life & by a State Police manhunt (long read)

So I'm playing $2/5 NL at a reputable East Coast casino yesterday. I had shown up at about 1pm, running great, and had built my $500 buy in up to $3400 by early this morning. One guy has more chips than me (about $5500?), a small Asian man who had gotten there even earlier than me, so who knows how long he'd been there.

Anyways, it's about 3:30AM, the alcohol is starting to wear off and the game is pretty lackadasical. I had just gotten back from eating a slice of pepperoni pizza and a Doctor Pepper when Asian guy raises UTG to $25. I'm in the CO, peek down at two beautiful black aces. I repop him to $75, he comes BACK at me for $225! I decide to smooth call, didn't want to give away that I had AA or KK. Pot is approx $450. Flop comes AQ7 raaaaaainbow. Asian guy leads out for $325. I know people on this site adhere to value betting your big hands, but I think this one is just too good to chase him out just yet. I call. Turn is another beautiful card: the deuce of diamonds. Not only because it meant a straight was out of the question, but there's now 4 different suits on the board. My hand is virtually unbeatable.

Guy takes no time and fires $700 into the pot, which is now at about $1100. I think about it for a while and push for my last $2850 or so. Asian guy turns over two queens like it's the nuts and says "Set of Queens!" I turn over my 3 aces and he can barely believe it.

The dealer is counting out the money, I tell her f**k it, just deal it out and we'll figure it out afterwards. A large crowd had assembled as this pot was HYOOOOGE for a $2/5 game. Anyway, she burns a card and plants the Queen of Clubs on the river.

Everyone at the table is screaming, yelling, going nuts, I'm in a state of shock. Asian guy is celebrating wildly as the dealer is shipping my chips over to him. It was all so cold blooded. Then the dealer says to me "You rebuying sir?" I couldn't believe it. I look her in the eye and say "You just give me the worst beat of my poker career, 3400 clams down the [censored] drain on a one outer and that's all you can say to me - 'you rebuying sir?'" She says "I don't rig the deck, sir"

At this point, the details of what happened next become fairly hazy. I was so distraught over losign that money (as you can imagine) and I can't believe what I did next. I went over to the Asian guy's stack and raked it all (about 9K in chips?) into my backpack. (I carry a backpack with me at the casino for a sweatshirt, snacks, etc.) Everyone is like "WTF are you doing?" and I just [censored] RAN. The dealer started callign for a floor but I booked it out hte [censored] door and into the cold outside. I could hear people chasing after me but I was a track star in college and there was no way in hell they're catching me with this bounty in my bag.

ANyway, I'm kinda hiding out in the woods laying low, I see about 4 State Police cars combing the area. I decide to hide out behind a Dunkin Donuts nearby, call my buddy and explain the situation and he drives over an hour to come pick me up. My girl is gonna have to go back later tonight or tomorrow to get my car and cash in the chips.

Brag: Pocketed $9K in chips
Beat: One-outed.
Variance: Never gonna be able to go back to this casino.
