Flopped Top Set on Monotone Board - $200 B&M
$200 Buy-in, 3/5 Blinds at my local B&M
Relevant stacks: Hero (UTG) $300 Button $280 (Regular at this level) SB $200 (Very loose, but sometimes lucky, calling station. Has rebought 2 times in last 15 minutes though) Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero raises to $25, folded to button, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players - Pot $80) SB checks, Hero bets $75, Button calls, SB calls. Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players -Pot $300) SB raises all-in $100, Hero ....? Comments on PF? Standard opening raise was $15-20. Should I have just pushed the flop? On the turn, I know I'm behind any club. I'm pretty sure Button flopped the big flush and SB probably turned a small one. Should I chase the river, hoping to fill up. Results: ...Hero pushes all-in $200, Button tanks for but calls all-in $180. River: 9:heart (3 players - Pot $680) SB has 5:club 6:spade (Flush) Hero has A:spade A:diamond (3 of a kind - Aces) Button has Kclub: Q:club (Flush - King kicker) |

[ QUOTE ] pushing on the turn is awful. otherwise, i think you're fine. [/ QUOTE ] he didn't push and he's all-in if he calls. [/ QUOTE ] i must've misread the action. let me fix it: [ QUOTE ] calling all-in on the turn is absolutely horrendous - it is much, much worse than pushing since you have no fold equity. you are literally throwing $x in the air and handing them to your opponent. otherwise, i think you're fine.
