This basically seems okay to me. What's your read on Button? (I'm really tempted to call the river.)
I'm not sure whether you should bet the flop or not. Your chances of being ahead aren't really very good, and even if no one has a king, I doubt anyone will fold a queen either, in a pot this big. However, I'm thinking you should probably peel for one bet anyway, so if you don't particularly fear a raise, maybe it's best to put the bet in yourself. And if by some miracle you end up heads-up with the LAG, you can consider check-calling your way to showdown. The problem with betting, though, is that I think you should call a raise with your assorted weak draws. |

I'd really consider calling the river is MP2 wasn't there.

tough hand. In hands like this I usually assume if they call a flop bet they have you beat, but the board is very draw heavy so fire again on the turn. hands like AT, JT, and any two spades will often call u here.
Bet-fold the turn. check-fold the river |

I check/fold this flop without any doubts that I made a bad play at all.

I check/fold this flop without any doubts that I made a bad play at all. [/ QUOTE ] With two back door draws plus the other two jacks i'm not folding for one bet when there will be at least 16sb in the pot. |

It turned out SB was value betting 99 and got called by AT.
I was sure I played it right before I saw that. I dont think I would ever bet the turn. I still think I played it right. |

I'm not against how you played the hand, in fact I like this. Let's evaluate the reasons you check behind the turn. 3-betting the flop and getting called by two hands is indicative of overcards and/or pocket pair. I do not think you can derive EV here by betting the turn, its blind aggression which makes getting to a showdown expensive. On the river you have denied a cheap showdown in a 3-way pot after the draws complete.

id call the river. the pot is pretty big here and he might be betting anything. Of course I need a read to back this up. the fact that he checked the turn in position makes me suspicious enough to see a showdown.

You are right. Not sure how I missed that there were twenty billion bets in the pot... I still wouldn't lead the flop though.
