Default Which celebrity deaths genuinely made you sad?

I must admit that I had basically no reaction to the news of Anna Nicole's death, other than surprise. Meh, she had great t!ts (once upon a time) and she was probably the world heavyweight champion of gold-digging whores. Whatever.

I tried to think of famous deaths that actually did upset me, and I think the one saddened me the most was Chris Farley.

Of course, I never met him, but he made me laugh so hard and so often on SNL and in his movies. I still think the SNL Chippendales skit is the single funniest thing I have ever seen on television. The first time I saw it, I was laughing so hard I literally thought I was going to throw up.

And you could tell that he was just a really sweet guy who loved to make people laugh but never felt that good about himself. I felt for him when he was alive and I felt so bad for him when he died. He was only 33 and not much older than me.

I still miss him and wish he was still around making me laugh.

Princess Di. Not because I gave a crap about her, but it's sad to think papparazzi where snapping shots of her while she was dying/dead.

Also John Candy cause he was awesome.

Phil Hartman was the one that really got to me.

Most of the other ones, either I just didn't care about the person, or they kinda did it to themselves.

Hartman, who was this wonderfully funny guy, who it seemed you couldn't possibly dislike, got [censored] MURDERED. That's just horrible.
