The situation: A live $4/$8 game. (For those who haven't played live, these stakes generally don't lead to very tough games. So, even if you've never played this high, don't worry about it. It's certainly no tougher than the average $1/$2 game online. In fact, it's probably softer.)

A new table has just opened and so far it seems moderately tight (3 or 4 to the flop on average), but you've only played a few hands so this isn't that significant. 2p2er TehPokarKing is in the big blind. He's a very LAG-y player, but quite smart. He knows you reasonably well.

Preflop: It's folded to you in the CO. You open-raise with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The button cold-calls, the SB folds, and TehPokarKing 3-bets. You?

Cap it! Slight chance button will fold for two more and we have position on TPK.

keep in mind that I personally don't like capping w/ AKo, but this is a ood position for it especially since BTNs money is gonna be pretty easy to come by often enough here.

In position I almost always do SH'd, but OOP, I keep it to 3 bets. Why you not?

It's also player dependant. With TPK in the BB, his range will be a little bigger since he knows our stealing range can be large. He is also aware that BTN is padding the pot nice.

OOP I really don't like capping AKo unless, again, the players are right. OOP sucks!!!
