Open new poker accounts in Chicago, IL ??
I've been out of poker for months now and I am now eyeing a return.. I am aware that IL is on the banned list but do all sites like Truepoker and poker.com enforce the law strictly? I can find this out on my own but right now Im at work and I can't download the softwares to try it out and find out myself.. If anyone with the answer could help a brother out, I'd appreciate it. thanks

FTP, Pokerstars, and Absolute Poker allow accounts from Illinois. Absolute Poker will even take credit cards (processed under an ambiguous name--how long will this last?--I don't know)
If you check the games, there are alot of people from the burbs playing.

vinyard, thanks .. I confused myself, I thought you meant, no I can't open accounts in IL.. Well this is good news. BUt all the payment processing issues are kinda making me want to hold off a bit.
