do I let my girlfriend....???

So my girlfriend is a graphic designer, she works at a big office downtown. She is a solid 9, and I'm a solid 7, so I'm naturally happy about this situation. We have been together about 8 months, but had a couple "breaks" and things have been kinda rocky lately...

So some guy in her office asks her to work at a "lingerie" party - $100 for 4 hours pouring champagne. She tells me she is going in lingerie, I tell her hell no, have some self-respect, she can't understand why I would object. I'm not invited to this party, and I don't really like the idea of her showing her goodies to 40 men and women, she will probably be the youngest and best looking woman there. I don't know any of the people hosting the party, and I don't know what it will be like.

She seems willing to compromise, but am I being out of line here? I don't think so, and I expect her to have more class than that. Granted she's not stripping or anything, but would you let your girlfriend do this? Tips for a compromise?

Don't be the boss of her. Tell her how you feel about it and she'll do what she wants.

Anyway, get yourself invited to the party.

Does her working this party have anything to do with her job, or is the guy just asking random hot chicks he knows?

If it's the later, I wouldn't be comfortable with it unless I was invited.

Except some modicum of self-respect if you are uncomfortable with her going and let her walk all over you.

i would let her know how i felt about it, that i wasn't comfortable but there is no way you should try to force her into not doing it. let her make her own decisions, she will respect that more than you bossing her around and if she knows how you feel w/o being bossy she might stay out of respect. but if she goes you have to be chill about it.

I also don't think you have a choice. You can express your objections, but ultimately, it's her decision.
