AK preflop, calling an ALL IN???
The tournament is the 120 +9 bounty tourny on UB. There are about 70 out of 300ish players left with the top 40 getting paid.
Blinds are 200-400 with a 75 ante i believe. Guy in LP mini'raises and makes it 800 and guy in CO goes AI for 7k. I have just over 7k in chips. I'm playing a milltion talbes so i don't know much about both players but is this an easy call??? Thx, Tony |

Re: AK preflop, calling an ALL IN???
Dont we definately need to shove, in order to try to get rid of the original limper?

Lay it down. Easy laydown, actually. You want to be the aggressor, and you don't know what the first raiser will do. All you have is Ace high, and at that stage in the tournament you can wait to pick a better spot. Especially with your stack size. Not necessary to call this here.

Re: AK preflop, calling an ALL IN???
i think it is a definate call. the original raiser has a wide range if unknown. the shove narrows the range for the 2nd player but there are only 2 hands that crush you and plenty that you dominate. the dead money in the pot(assuming the original raiser folds a good % of the time) makes this an easy call
