Default Best 1-on-1 NBA player today?

If each NBA player somehow played each other NBA player in half-court 1-on-1, which player would fare the best overall?

LeBron? Kobe? I'm not a huge b-ball fan so I really have no idea. I would like to see thoughts though.

If this is being refereed, then Wade. If not, then Dirk.

AI isn't good enough defensively.

Kobe seems like a good choice.

I'm gonna go with Joe Johnson or Carmelo Anthony.

LeBron and D-Wade aren't good enough jump shooters to keep the defender honest enough, and a lot of guys could post D-Wade.

JJ and Melo have big 6'8" frames, good handle, and are both excellent shooters.

would any of the sf/sg type players u guys have mentioned be able to stop dwight howard from slowly just posting up on them... he wouldn't be able to stop them much... but they would eventually miss an eight foot jumper... whereas he would jus jam it everytime

They should get rid of the dunk contest, which is just silly imo and replace it with a playoff series of one-on-one match-ups.
